Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Supervisor to oversee and manage our retail and wholesale sales operations. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for sales, logistics, customer relations, financial coordination, and statutory compliance to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Operations:

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from customer order placement to logistics coordination and delivery.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and collect feedback to improve the overall experience.

Customer Acquisition and Engagement:

  • Proactively identify and acquire new customers by introducing product samples and presenting bespoke solutions.
  • Process custom requests, ensuring customer needs are met with precision and efficiency.

E-commerce Operations:

  • Supervise e-commerce activities, ensuring timely order processing and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date online product listings, promotions, and pricing.

Inventory and Logistics Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising excess stock.
  • Manage import/export documentation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers, monitor shipment schedules, and manage the costs of imports and storage.

Financial Management:

  • Take charge of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Manage credit terms with suppliers and customers to maintain financial stability and cash flow.
  • Coordinate timely reporting to accountants and auditors, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met to avoid penalties or overdue interest.

 Cost Management:

  • Monitor and control costs related to sales operations, imports, logistics, and storage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail and/or wholesale sales, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the leather industry are essential.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software for managing inventory and financial processes.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
